"We went against the Blue Jays here yesterday against the Indians but today we like them versus the Yankees as a road dog!  Yankees SP Burnett has lost his last 5 outings with an 11.35 ERA.  On the other side of the ball, Blue Jays send out SP Cecil, who is 7-5 with a 4.39 ERA overall.  In Cecils last game vs Yanks on June 4, he pitched 8 innings and gave up 5 hits and 1 run.  Also, I like the left-hander vs. the right-hander with the short porch at Yankee Stadium.  The general public is on the Yanks right now at an 80% clip and you know how I feel about that - TAKE THE ROAD DOG BLUE JAYS HERE AT +135!!!"

"As well as the Reds are playing - winners of 8 of 10, that is how poor the Cubs are playing right now - losers of 7 of 10.  Things do not get any better for the Cubs today,  The Reds send Bronson Arroyo to the mound, who is 4-1 with a 2.77 ERA in his last six outings at Wrigley, and 2-0 with a 1.33 ERA in his past three starts overall versus Chicago.  I think the wrong team is favored here.  TAKE THE ROAD DOG REDS HERE AT +113!!!"

"Marlins send ACE SP Johnson to the mound tonight.  I usually will side with him, but not in this case.  The Braves are an amazing 28-9 at home and their SP tonight Medlen is no slouch.  Atlanta has won 8 of his 9 starts overall this season.  Additionally, Atlanta is 5-1 in Medlen's last 6 starts against a team with a losing record and the Braves are 4-1 in Medlen's last 5 starts as an underdog of +110 to +150.  TAKE THE HOME DOG BRAVES HERE AT +110!!!"

July 1 UPDATE:  Indians beat Jays 6-1 this morning!!!- Our pick was Indians and here is member write up:

"Indians playing well in this series, winning first three, looking to sweep the Blue Jays at home send SP Masterson to the mound.  Blue Jays start Marcum.  Although at face value, it appears that Marcum has the edge in this matchup, a closer look shows that Marcum has a 4.37 lifetime ERA against the Tribe.  Masterson is 1-0 with a 2.89 ERA in seven relief appearances against the Jays.  General public on the Jays at over 85% here, which makes me like the Indians that much more!  TAKE THE HOT, HOME UNDERDOG IN THIS SPOT - INDIANS +130!!!"
